WORKSTATION

A 10 minute assessment, whereby the Musculoskeletal Specialist focuses on the individual’s relationship to their workstation (desk & monitor height, chair set up, phone position), the surrounding environment (lighting, noise) and posture of the individual.

PHOTOGRAPHIC POSTURAL

A 15 minute assessment whereby the Musculoskeletal Specialist observes and photographs the fully clothed body.  The Specialist analyses posture and mobility, advising on how to maintain or improve on it.  Advice may range from demonstrated exercises to subtle workstation adjustments.  Employees walk away with their own report including their own critiqued photograph.

PHOTOGRAPHIC WORKSTATION

A 10 minute assessment whereby the Musculoskeletal Specialist photographs the individual at their workplace. The session focuses on the workstation itself (desk & monitor height, chair set up, phone position), surrounding environment (lighting, noise) and posture of the individual. Employees walk away with their own report including their own critiqued photograph.

Pregnancy risk assessments are also available.

MANUAL HANDLING

A 10  minute assessment whereby the Musculoskeletal Specialist initially watches the employee working, using photographs to help the employee visualize how they can use the correct handling skills.  With that knowledge, the employee is empowered to reduce their own risk of injury. Employees walk away with a report including photographs.

PHYSICAL PRE- EMPLOYMENT

A 20 minute assessment by a Musculoskeletal Specialist to assess whether the structure and function of the candidates body is compatible with the requirements defined by their job description. The Specialist assesses whether the individual is able to physically perform the duties outlined in the job description, now and in the future.

The assessment includes a structural and functional weakness identification, an assessment of strength and flexibility, evaluation of techniques to perform the required work and the postural and manual handling assessments above (depending on the job description).

OSTEOPATHIC TREATMENT

The Osteopath provides 15-minute treatments on-site. The treatment caters for both preventative and therapeutic needs and can be provided on an adhoc or regular basis.It is certainly very effective for musculoskeletal problems generally, but can also be used to treat people with a wide range of problems.

Employees will leave each treatment physically adjusted to allow their body to function at its’ peak and with a current and complete understanding of how to look after themselves.

THE PHYSICAL BREAKTHROUGH WORKSHOP

Taking the audience from sitting to exercise, slouching to postural awareness. A 30 – minute workshop that arms employees with the knowledge of best practice techniques for their movement and workstation within their own workplace.

THE IN CAR ASSESSMENT

A 15 minute in car photographic seating assessment, enabling the driver to be in their optimum position behind the wheel. The assessment focuses on the safest, comfortable and anatomically correct position for the driver. The driver drives away with their own report including a critiqued photograph, advice and exercises to perform in the car. Suitable for any company who has a mobile workforce.
