Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a complete system of healthcare that looks for the cause of the problem. It uses the musculo - skeletal system as a ‘way in’ to find health. Osteopathic manipulation is a gentle form of realignment of the body, which helps restore the structure and function of the spine and internal organs. Osteopaths view people as complex & complete integrated organisms, in which no part functions independently.
Most of us think of osteopathy for a bad back. It is certainly very effective for musculoskeletal problems generally, but can also be used to treat people with a wide range of problems. Osteopathic Techniques range from light touch to deep manipulation. Osteopathy epitomises our contemporary understanding of healthcare.
